Santa Florentina Castle is located on the Maresme Coast, 47 km from Barcelona and 59 km from Girona, in Canet de Mar.

Canet can be reached by the N-II road or the C-32 Motorway. From Barcelona the journey takes about 40 minutes, from Girona – an hour.

The AP-7 motorway follows the entire Catalan coast, from La Jonquera to the Ebro River, and continues to the south of the peninsula. Through the exit of the Roca del Vallès you reach Mataró and, starting from this city, the C-32 Motorway leads to Canet de Mar – Exit 113.

According to the scheme, the castle is reached by going up the Ronda del Dr. Anglés until you reach Dr. Marià Serra Avenue, and from there, continue along the riera (sandy road) and passing under the C-32 Motorway. Soon you will see a forge entrance, closed until visiting hours.

We inform you that the parking lot next to the Castle is open ONLY FRIDAYS and SATURDAYS. For the REST OF THE DAYS, we have a new signposted parking, ABOUT 300 METERS up the same sandy road. (Click on the image)

The 12/13 meter coaches will have to unload the passengers before reaching the sandy road, as shown in the sketch.

If they park in the stream, on the way of sand (Camino de Canet de Mar), they may find that they have notified the crane.

Canet de Mar has a connection with Barcelona through the Renfe Line R1.

The duration of the trip is about 50 minutes.

According to the scheme, you have to leave the Canet de Mar station and go up the Sant Domènec Stream to the crossroads, where you will see the beautiful building of the Lluís Domènech i Montaner House Museum.

From there, you have to go up the Buscarons Stream, which continues with Avda. Dr. Marià Serra, to the stream. Already on the sandy road, you walk about 5 minutes, passing under the C-32 Highway.
