DATES AND TIMES OF VISITS

The Castell opens its doors for visits throughout the year, from Tuesday to Saturday and at various times in the mornings and / or afternoons, depending on the season.

*FROM THE 15 SEPTEMBER (approx.), OCTOBER, NOVEMBER, DECEMBER, JANUARY, FEBRUARY, MARCH, APRIL AND UNTIL MAY 15 (approx.):
Tuesday to Friday: 11h, 12h and 13h. (audio guides)
Saturdays: 11h, and 16:30h (audio guides) and GUIDED: 12h (CATALAN) and 13h (SPANISH)

*FROM 15 MAY (approx.), JUNE AND SEPTEMBER (until the 15 approx.)
Tuesday to Friday: 11h, 12h, 13h, 16:30h and 17:30h (audio guides)
Saturdays: 11h, 16:30h and 17:30h (audio guides) and GUIDED: 12h (CATALAN) and 13h (SPANISH)

*JULY AND AUGUST:
Tuesday to Friday: 11h, 12h, 13h, 16:30h, 17:30h and 18:30h (audio guides)

AUDIO GUIDED OR GUIDED?

The visits are usually with audio guides in eight languages, such as Catalan, Spanish, English, French, Russian, German, Chinese and Korean, and if you want to use headphones, you have to bring your own wired headphones, but they are not essential.

These visits are not free in its format, since that will always be accompanied by a guide throughout the tour, which interacts, clarifies doubts and complements information.

There is also the option of two weekly guided tours on Saturday, indicated above and in the online ticket sales.

Each audio guided tour lasts approximately one hour, including the last minutes to enjoy our winery. Guided tours have a usual duration of an hour and a quarter, but it is better to calculate an hour and a half from the moment you enter until you leave.

IMPORTANT RECOMMENDATIONS

It is recommended to always arrive five minutes in advance, since the entrance door opens only at the o’clock hours of the schedule of each visit, and closes after brief courtesy minutes, remaining closed until the next shift.
If you arrive late we give the option to enter later shifts or write to us at visit@castelldesantaflorentina.com to arrange a new schedule.

We recommend buying tickets in advance, online, through this website. In this way we can ensure access in the Castell, in terms of capacity, and its price is 2 € less than at the box office. It is not necessary to print the tickets, it is enough to carry them on your mobile.

The enclosure is private and free access or walks around its exteriors are not allowed, nor can it be accessed with the car or leave it parked on the entrance ramp.

We have parking next to the Castell on Fridays and Saturdays, and for the rest of the days, we have a new signposted parking, about 300 meters further up the same sandy road, as we indicate on the location and parking page, on this same website.

Extraordinary visits

The Castle offers the possibility of also being visited privately, closing to the rest of the public if so arranged, and at times that suit both parties.
It can be guided or audio-guided, as agreed.

Whatever the modality, you will always be accompanied by a person from our team throughout the entire route, who interacts, clarifies doubts and complements information.

Although the visiting hours are only in the morning during the low season, the Castle will be available in the afternoons, during daylight hours, for extraordinary visits by previously arranged groups.

PRICES AND DISCOUNTS

Rates vary depending on guided or audio-guided tours and according to ages:

With audio guide:

Admission Adults, 12 €
Over 65 years, 10 €
Children 7 to 12 years, 6 €
Children 0 to 6 years, free of charge.

With guide:

Admission Adults, 14 €
Over 65 years, 12 €
Children 7 to 12 years, 8 €
Children 0 to 6 years, free of charge.

These rates are for online purchase. At the box office there is an increase of € 2 per ticket.

VAT is included in all prices.

No more discounts than those indicated are contemplated, since the Property is absolutely private and does not receive any kind of help or subsidy, except in the case of large groups (see “extraordinary visits” on this same page).

SOME MORE NOTES…

Pets of a calm character are allowed to enter during the visits.

Baby strollers can be useful in the outdoor visitable part, but it is advisable to bring a backpack for the interiors of the Castle, since we recommend leaving the stroller on the ground floor.

For people with reduced mobility, we recommend our virtual tour, where you can see that there is only one flight of stone stairs from our Parade Ground to the noble floor, which is the one that is visited.
We do not have wheelchair accessibility, but they have visited us and enjoyed the beauty of the Castell from the Parade Ground, with an audio guide and a book with photos and history.
